Shop by piece
Ordered by what Australians actually search for, and by what we hold deepest in stock.

The material
Solid all the way through
Cut a piece of ours in half and it looks the same inside as out. We buy FAS-graded American hardwood — the top grade, at least 83% clear face — then kiln-dry it to 8–12% moisture so it stays true in an Australian summer.
Drawer boxes are dovetailed solid timber. Backs are solid timber. There is no MDF core hiding under a printed wrap, because there is no wrap.
How we buildJust landed
New in timber

Boards chosen one at a time
We buy American oak, black walnut, ash and cherry as sawn boards, not as sheet goods. Every board is kiln-dried to furniture moisture content and sorted by grain before anything is cut, so the piece that arrives is stable in an Australian home.

Joinery, not staples
Frames are mortised and tenoned, drawers are dovetailed, backs and bases are solid timber. There is no veneer, no MDF and no particleboard anywhere in the build — including the parts you only see when you pull a drawer all the way out.

Finished by hand, low-VOC
Each piece is hand-sanded through the grits and finished with a low-VOC penetrating oil that sits in the timber rather than on top of it. It leaves the grain readable and the surface repairable — a scuff can be oiled out years later.

Onto our own fleet
Metro deliveries in Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane go out on our own vehicles, blanket-wrapped and handled by our own crew, with a courier network behind us for everywhere else. Free on metro orders over $600 and a flat $50 below that, or collect free from any of our three showrooms.

The guarantee
Built to be handed down
Mortise-and-tenon frames, dovetailed drawers, solid timber panels that can be sanded back and re-oiled decades from now. Nothing here is designed to be thrown out.
So we cover the structure for ten years: frames, joinery, drawer runners and hinges. If it fails in normal home use, we repair or replace it.
Read the warrantyBy species
Choose your timber
Each species ages differently. Oak lightens and warms, walnut mellows from dark chocolate to amber, rubberwood holds an even pale gold, ash stays open-grained. Nineteen more species, including cherry and pine, are in the full guide.

The forest
Timber worth cutting down a tree for
Our hardwood comes from responsibly managed North American forests, where more timber grows back each year than is harvested. Part of our range carries FSC chain-of-custody certification.
Finishes are low-VOC penetrating oils and water-based lacquers, so there is nothing to off-gas into your home. And the most sustainable thing about a solid timber cabinet is simple: you only buy it once.

Questions
Before you buy
Is it really 100% solid timber?
Yes. Carcass, doors, drawer fronts, drawer boxes and backs are solid hardwood boards. Where a wide surface is needed we use edge-glued solid staves rather than a single board, because that is how a solid top stays flat — but it is still whole timber, all the way through. We do not use veneer, MDF, particleboard or laminate anywhere in the structure.
What does the 10-year warranty cover?
Ten years on the structure: frames, joinery, drawer runners and hinges, under normal household use. Timber moves and colours shift with light and age — that is the material behaving as it should, not a fault. Full terms are on our warranty page.
How much is delivery?
Metro Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane: free over $600, a flat $50 under $600, on our own fleet. Everywhere else in Australia, freight is worked out by postcode at checkout before you pay. Collection from any of our three showrooms is always free.
Can I see a piece in person?
Yes — we have showrooms in Silverwater (NSW), Oakleigh (VIC) and Archerfield (QLD), open 9am–5:30pm, no appointment needed. Each one sits inside the warehouse the stock ships from, so what is on the floor is what is in stock. Collection is free from all three; in Sydney you collect from 9 Suttor Street rather than the Wiblin Street showroom.
What if something is out of stock?
Product pages show a live arrival date straight from our warehouse system, so you know before you order when a pre-order piece lands. In-stock orders usually leave the warehouse within two business days.
How much assembly is involved?
Most pieces arrive largely assembled — typically legs and shelves only, with everything you need in the box and an illustrated manual. If anything is unclear, message us on live chat and we will walk you through it.
