About Oak & Walnut
Oak & Walnut is an Australian solid timber furniture company. We sell hardwood cabinetry — sideboards, buffets, entryway storage, beds, desks and mirrors — directly from our own warehouses in Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane.
Showrooms at the warehouse, not on the high street
A retail strip frontage costs a great deal of money, and that money comes out of the timber. So our showrooms sit inside the warehouses the stock already ships from. You still get to open the drawers and look at the end grain before you spend a thousand dollars — you just do it at a loading dock instead of a shopping strip.
That is how a solid American oak sideboard ends up priced where a veneered one usually sits. The rest goes into better boards, real joinery and our own delivery trucks.

Live chat and email are staffed 9am–5:30pm, seven days, by the same people who load the trucks. In business hours they are answered in minutes, not days.
See it in person
We have three showrooms, and every one of them is attached to the warehouse the stock ships from: Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane. Walk in, open the drawers, look at the end grain. Nothing on this site is a piece you cannot go and stand in front of.

Free collection
Collection is free from all three sites, whatever the order is worth.

Sydney has two addresses. The showroom is on Wiblin Street; orders are collected from the loading dock at 9 Suttor Street, a few minutes away. Silverwater does not collect on Saturdays. Everywhere else, the showroom and the collection point are the same door.
