TV units built from FAS-graded solid American oak, sized from 120cm for compact apartments up to 240cm hero pieces for open-plan living rooms. Every unit is 100% solid timber — the drawer boxes, the panels, the back — never veneer over particleboard.
Standard features across the range: soft-close drawer runners, integrated cable management, adjustable interior shelves, and floor-friendly plinths or tapered legs.

- 55" TV → 150–160cm unit — the TV visually rests on the top, with 20cm to spare each side for a speaker or plant.
- 65" TV → 180–200cm — the most common Australian living-room combination.
- 75" TV or larger → 210–240cm — pair with wall mounting to free the top for a soundbar and decor.
- Bedroom / secondary → 120–140cm compact unit works with a 40–50" TV.
Solid oak vs the alternatives
Most Australian TV units retail as "oak-look" — that is a printed melamine or a paper-thin veneer over a chipboard core. Under a heavy soundbar or a 75" TV, the internal chipboard sags within 2–3 years, and the melamine chips at every corner. Solid oak carries the weight without deflection, and every mark can be sanded back.

Frequently asked questions
Is the whole unit solid oak, including the back panel?
Yes. Frame, top, sides, drawer boxes and back panels are all solid American oak. Some doors have a solid oak frame with a thicker solid oak infill panel that lets the timber move naturally with the seasons — this is traditional cabinet-making, not veneer.
Will it hold a 75" TV?
Yes. Our 180cm and wider units are engineered for TVs up to 90" and 60kg, and the solid oak top does not sag under load the way particleboard does.
Does the timber tone match across the range?
Every Oakwalnut oak unit is made from the same FAS-graded American oak stock and finished with the same natural wax or lightly-tinted oil. Small grain variations between boards are natural and expected — that is how you know the timber is solid.
Cable management?
Every unit has factory-cut cable pass-throughs at the back and internal cable routing between compartments. Bluetooth speakers, gaming consoles and cable boxes all fit tidily.
Assembly?
Fully assembled where dimensions allow. Larger 210cm+ units ship with legs and back panels removed for narrow doorways — reassembly is bolt-on, 15 minutes with the included hex key.
