Solid Timber Dining Chairs

The most-used chairs in the house sit around your dining table. They need to hold weight for hours, survive two children learning to eat, and still look designed rather than an afterthought. Our solid-timber dining chairs are built with mortise-and-tenon joinery at every stress point, not screws or dowels — the difference between a chair that lasts five years and one that lasts thirty.

Timber Seat or Upholstered?

  • Timber seat: easier to clean, more forgiving of spills, minimalist look. Add a seat cushion for comfort.
  • Upholstered seat: softer, warmer, sits longer without fidgeting. Choose a stain-resistant fabric or vinyl for family dining.
  • Upholstered back + timber seat: compromise that looks intentional.

Sizing to Your Table

Allow 60cm of table edge per chair for comfortable elbow room. A 180cm dining table seats 6 (3 per side) or 8 (with two end chairs). Standard dining chair seat height is 45–47cm.

Delivery, Showrooms & White-Glove Setup

We ship Australia-wide from our Silverwater (Sydney), Melbourne and Brisbane warehouses. Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane metro receive free delivery on orders over $600; $50 flat rate under $600. Adelaide, Perth, Hobart and Darwin ship via Direct Freight Express with a live rate quoted at checkout — most orders arrive within 5–10 business days.

Prefer to see the timber first? Visit our showrooms at Silverwater NSW, Melbourne VIC, or Brisbane QLD seven days a week (Sydney closed Saturdays for pickup). Room placement, packaging removal and upstairs carries can be arranged as a paid extra, quoted on the day based on access and stairs.

Are the chairs stackable?

Some designs are stackable — look for the tag on the product page. Fully upholstered chairs are not.

Are they suitable for outdoor use?

No — these are indoor dining chairs. Timber will crack and joints will loosen under sun and rain.

Can I buy chairs individually or only as sets?

Individually. Add the quantity you need to the cart.
