Solid Timber Dressers, Tallboys & Chests of Drawers

Serious bedroom storage means serious joinery. Every dresser and tallboy in this collection uses dovetailed solid-timber drawers on ball-bearing runners — the drawers that still slide smoothly when the cabinet is thirty years old. Choose from low-and-wide dressers (6–9 drawers), tall narrow tallboys (5–7 drawers) and chests of drawers (4–5 wide drawers).

Dresser or Tallboy — Which Do You Need?

  • Dresser (low, wide): more surface area on top, better for a mirror above.
  • Tallboy (tall, narrow): uses vertical space when floor is tight. Ideal for smaller bedrooms.
  • Chest of drawers: the traditional standalone bedroom storage. Between dresser and tallboy in size.

Delivery, Showrooms & White-Glove Setup

We ship Australia-wide from our Silverwater (Sydney), Melbourne and Brisbane warehouses. Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane metro receive free delivery on orders over $600; $50 flat rate under $600. Adelaide, Perth, Hobart and Darwin ship via Direct Freight Express with a live rate quoted at checkout — most orders arrive within 5–10 business days.

Prefer to see the timber first? Visit our showrooms at Silverwater NSW, Melbourne VIC, or Brisbane QLD seven days a week (Sydney closed Saturdays for pickup). Room placement, packaging removal and upstairs carries can be arranged as a paid extra, quoted on the day based on access and stairs.

What is the difference between a dresser and a tallboy?

A dresser is low and wide (usually 6–9 drawers arranged in two columns). A tallboy is tall and narrow (5–7 drawers stacked in a single column).

Are the drawers dovetailed?

Yes — every drawer uses solid timber dovetail joinery.

Do the drawers have soft-close?

Most models yes. The product page confirms per-model.

Can I anchor a tallboy to the wall?

Yes — all tallboys ship with anti-tip wall straps. Always anchor tall furniture in homes with young children.
